I’ve decided against my usual ‘I hate you, you curly-haired asshole’ and ‘how dare you be so perfect, fuck you! You are the absolute worst!’ commentary since it’s your birthday (yes, I will be addressing Harry throughout this even though he won’t ever see it) and today should be an exception.
Is it weird that I feel actual pride for you even though I have never met you in my life? Well done for living for 18 years and achieving more than most people will in their lifetime! No big deal, or anything! I love you, you beautiful bastard. I love your cheekiness and the fact you can always put a massive smile on my face with the ridiculous words that come out of your mouth or the ridiculous faces you choose to make. Or just existing, just the fact that you exist can put a smile on my face. I love your wit and the fact you have as much of a dirty mind as I do. I love how you intensely stare at everything and everyone. I love your beautiful, husky voice even though I hate the effect it has on me — making me sigh, cry and my chest hurt. I love the fact that you refuse to pull up your trousers and they are always half-way down your arse. I love your brilliant music taste. I also love you for the superficial reasons such as your curls, your dimples, your fantastic jawline, the huge green saucers that are your eyes, your smile, your long torso, your collarbone and even your gigantic nostrils and your four nipples.
Basically, I love you. I will love you when you are nineteen, twenty and probably even when you are fifty years old. I am so proud of you. You are living your dream and you definitely deserve it.
